For this piece, I had to do a series of works based off of the old Brlycreem ads. We had to take a single picture and manipulate it in multiple different ways. I chose a picture of Nick Offerman as his character Ron Swanson, from the show Parks and Recreation. I chose to take these images and create stickers from them, making them a fun piece that can be placed anywhere. The first sticker is inspired by the rapper Post Malone. Famous for his face tattoos, I wanted to emulate that idea on Ron, as Post Malone contrasts the character of Ron Swanson as a person. For the second sticker, I chose to digitally illustrate Ron in a style that stood out from the other stickers.  The purple and blue colors were just chosen because they are vibrant colors that stand out in a cool way. For the third sticker, I wanted to show how the character of Ron Swanson might react to the world as it is during the COVID-19 pandemic. I made Ron with a face mask that sported one of his famous quotes from the show, that plays along with the idea of social distancing, as well as Ron’s natural dislike of people and groups.
